Girl Time

Big sisters always have birthday parties to go to! It's just not fair to little sisters who look at big sister's friends as her bff's too! Reese just doesn't understand why her 8 year old bff's don't invite her to their parties too! We dropped Riley off at the party and I had to think of something "fun" for Reese and I to do for 2 hours. I've taken just Riley before to get her nails done, but never Reese. I was thinking since Tuesday she will be 5 years old every girl needs to experience getting her nails professionally done! We went to Nails by Lee in Tyler, it is the nicest "Chinese" place I think, and the pedicures last forever! I guess you have to look at this place through the eyes of a first time 4 almost 5 year old girly girl.............with all the columns, flower arrangements, soft music, big leather chairs with "bathtubs", rugs, and lots of Chinese workers. Reese's eyes got BIG and as we walked in, she whispered in my ear, "Mommy, are they gonna feed us grapes?" I know she must have felt like princess Jasmine in a palace with servants or something..........she got hot pink nails with glitter.........
